Miami, FL – February 26, 2025 – The New World Center set the stage for an evening of breathtaking artistry as over 500 guests gathered for the Herman Cornejo & Ballet Stars Gala. Hosted by The Ballet Support Foundation, the event showcased a stunning repertoire performed by some of the world’s most renowned dancers. Highlights included the revival of Vaslav Nijinsky’s unfinished masterpiece ANIMA ANIMAL, brought to life by Herman Cornejo and Grupo Cadabra, and the world premiere of Vingt Deux by Briana Reed, inspired by Serena and Venus Williams. The night continued with excerpts from Don Quixote and Swan Lake, culminating in a captivating performance of Twyla Tharp’s Sinatra Suite by Cornejo and Cassandra Trenary. The red carpet shined with notable guests from the entertainment and fashion industries, adding to the evening’s glamour. Through this unforgettable gala, The Ballet Support Foundation reaffirmed its mission to support the future of ballet and inspire generations to come.
