Miami, FL – March 13, 2025 – A Michelin-starred chef is bringing bold new flavors to the Florida Keys.

Chef Jeremy Ford, known for Miami Beach’s acclaimed Stubborn Seed, has opened Salt + Ash at Hawks Cay Resort, adding a fresh culinary destination to the Keys.

The new restaurant highlights coastal cuisine with locally sourced seafood, including crispy snapper and olive oil-poached swordfish, alongside vegetable-forward dishes inspired by Ford’s own farm. This marks another milestone in Ford’s whirlwind year, which also saw the launch of a Las Vegas outpost of Stubborn Seed and continued success at his farm in Homestead.

Salt + Ash is part of a broader resort transformation, featuring upgraded rooms, a revamped marina, and new dining options. Ford emphasizes the restaurant’s commitment to hyper-local ingredients, taking advantage of fresh catches delivered straight to Duck Key.
