Miami, FL – May 15, 2024 – Casa Malka — “Malka” meaning “queen” in Hebrew — is raising the standard for tequila.

The new brand, founded by partners Jayson Winer and Malka Roth, is described as a “a uniquely feminine brand – created for anyone and everyone who chooses to seek out romance, experience, and light wherever they are.”

“Casa Malka is all about saying “f*** it” to other people’s expectations and living the life of your dreams,” shares the team at Casa Malka. “Miami is the perfect place to launch Casa Malka into the world.”

WRE: Tell us what makes Casa Malka unique in the tequila space

Jayson Winer: Casa Malka is 100% additive-free. Unlike many commercially produced tequilas, additive-free tequila undergoes a traditional and transparent production process, focusing solely on the natural flavors derived from agave. This approach reduces the intake of toxic chemicals often found in additives, which can contribute to hangovers. By avoiding additives like caramel coloring or artificial flavorings, additive-free tequila maintains its integrity, offering an unmasked and unaltered drinking experience.

Developed by Malki, our female founder, our tequila is incredibly smooth and drinkable. The brand, also developed in-house, aligns with our audience who finds inspiration in design, art, fashion, music, culture, and travel. Casa Malka is a uniquely feminine brand – created for anyone and everyone who chooses to seek out romance, experience, and light wherever they are.

WRE: How did you create the concept?

JW: In the spring of 2022, I was sitting with Malki “Malka” Roth, my then wife (they are now amicably divorced) sipping tequila. As I looked at Malka, literally “queen” in Hebrew, I was struck with an idea.

What if we could create a tequila that embodied the powerful, regal femininity Malka represented – while aligning with the high-fashion, aesthetically-driven circles we ran in? It would be a smooth, clean tequila that would appeal to our tastes and standards – and those of our wide networks, and beyond.

Nothing like this existed. On the spot, we decided we would make it.

Casa Malka, translates to “House of the Queen,” fully embraces its American inception and future, saying “f*** it” to what’s “normal” or “expected.”
