WRE News: Air: Courting a Legend Screens at The Landmark Merrick Park

Miami, FL – March 24, 2023 – A special screening of Air: Courting a Legend was held last night at the The Landmark at Merrick Park, hosted by Marlon Wayans and DJ EPPS.

Directed by Ben Affleck, Air is a biographical sports drama starring Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Marlon Wayans, Chris Tucker, and Viola Davis. It tells the story of the Air Jordan shoeline, and the Nike employee on strike who sought to make a deal with rookie basketball player Michael Jordan. The film premiered at South by Southwest on March 18, and is set for release by Amazon Studios in theaters on April 5.
