Miami Beach, FL – November 18, 2019 – The award-winning Amernet Quartet, FIU’s ensemble in residence, was recently featured in concert with another installment of The (New) Beethoven Quartets, a re-imagination of the 32 Piano Sonatas for String Quartet by Composer, Jeffery L. Briggs. On this evening they performed the 9th of 12 concerts. Final concerts in the series will be in Spring 2020, bringing to a close the performance of 98 movements of music. Future goals for the project include bi-coastal performances and a professional ‘Best of’ recording.
