WRE: Swim Week is here, why is 2019 the time to launch Nu Wave Swim?

SB: For over two decades, I’ve captured Swim Week behind the camera lens, now it’s time to elevate Swim Week in Miami by launching Nu Wave Swim. Nu Wave Swim is creating a fresh new approach to celebrating swimwear, by bringing the focus to Miami Beach producing high energy fashion events with established brands, runway shows, activations, afterparties and more. With nearly a year in production, Nu Wave Swim is ready to launch this week during Swim Week – we can’t wait for the vision to become a reality.

WRE: Tell us a bit more about Nu Wave Swim, what are some of the brands you will be working with?

SB: Nu Wave Swim will be the new epicenter of Swim Week. Throughout the course of four days, The Garden will be transformed as hub for designers to showcase their latest swim collection. WRE: For over twenty years you’ve grown WRE into a global multi-media agency – how do you hope to emulate the same business concept to Nu Wave Swim?

SB: Creating a new business is always a challenge, however throughout the past twenty year’s evolving WRE I’ve built both professional and personal relationships in the Miami community. With that being said establishing and maintaining relationships is key, I’ve used the same relationships to help me create Nu Wave Swim. It’s important for Nu Wave Swim to give the Miami community, economy, buyers, fashion brands, and guests something to look forward for many many years to come.

WRE: Do you and your business partners have plans to expand Nu Wave Swim outside of Miami?

SB: This year our focus is make Nu Wave Swim the premier destination for Swim Week in Miami. With that being said, yes in the future we hope to expand outside of Miami.
