Miami, FL –  May 18, 2017 – A bit of rain didn’t stop guests from coming out to celebrate Haitian Heritage Month and Haitian Flag Day at PAMM. On the terrace, guests enjoyed live music, art-making and drink specials on the terrace as part of PAMM Third Thursdays: Poplife Social. Haitian band Symbi Roots didn’t let the weather get in the way of their lively performance, and performed an acoustic set on the terrace, complete with drums, horns and guests jumping into dance. Inside the museum, PAMM hosted a screening of  “Liberty in a Soup,” a documentary conceived and produced by filmmaker Dudley Alexis. As a fun twist to the evening, guests were treated to the soup on which the film is based, “Soup Joumou,” a dish with deep historical ties to Haiti.
