North Bay Village, FL – January 16, 2025 – Palm Tree Crew (PTC), renowned for its global music festivals, is making waves in the hospitality industry with the launch of its first-ever waterfront hotel and restaurant, Palm Tree Club, in Miami’s North Bay Village.

PTC Co-founder Myles Shear, a Miami native, envisions the club as a cultural hub offering live music, coastal gastronomy, and immersive experiences, marking a bold new chapter for the brand. Shifting from festivals to hospitality, Myles and PTC business partner and renowned artist Kygo decided to bring give the lifestyle brand a home at Palm Tree Club Miami.

In collaboration with Continuum Company, Palm Tree Club took over the former Shuckers Waterfront Grill & Hotel, transforming the property into a vibrant destination that blends festival energy with laid-back hospitality. The full-circle moment presented PTC with an opportunity to honor a venue that’s been part of Miami’s history for years while giving it a fresh twist.

The property features a waterfront restaurant, a marina with dine-and-dock services, 118 guest suites, and a pool. Aesthetics have been updated to match the PTC branding, but guests can expect much of the same Shuckers classics on the menu.

What lies ahead for PTC’s future? The dynamic brand plans to further expand on their hospitality ventures, looking to open more Palm Tree Clubs in various cities. The overall aim is to become a global lifestyle brand synonymous with good people, incredible music, and exceptional hospitality.

WRE: How did Palm Tree Crew (PTC) start?

Palm Tree Crew (PTC): Palm Tree Crew (PTC) started as a vision to create something bigger than just music—it was about building a lifestyle. We were inspired by Jimmy Buffett and the way he turned his music into a global lifestyle brand. That ability to capture a vibe and create a world around it really resonated with us. We wanted to bring that same carefree, tropical ethos to a new generation. PTC began as a way to combine our love for music and tropical aesthetics with innovative ventures. Over the years, it’s grown into a globally recognized lifestyle brand, spanning music management, festivals, and now hospitality. It’s all about creating spaces and experiences where people can live the Palm Tree Crew vibe.

WRE: What’s your connection to Shuckers, and why is it special to have PTC there?

PTC: Shuckers has always held a special place in our hearts. We have endless memories of coming here, and enjoying meals right on the water. Bringing PTC to this iconic spot is a full-circle moment—it’s about honoring a place that’s been part of Miami’s history while giving it a fresh twist.

WRE: What can locals look forward to?

PTC: It’s all about creating a place where the Miami lifestyle comes alive. Locals can pull up by boat for brunch, catch their favorite artists live, enjoy a laid-back dinner, or watch football with their crew. It’s the ultimate hangout with a view.

WRE: Besides PTC, what are some of your favorite local spots?

PTC: Beyond PTC, we enjoy dining at local spots like ZZ’s, Carbone, and Harbour Club. These places offer incredible food and an atmosphere that’s uniquely Miami. They’re my go-to spots to unwind and enjoy a great meal with friends.

WRE: Tell us about the renovation and what amenities you are most excited about.

PTC: We’ve changed the aesthetic to fit the Palm Tree vibe, updated the tables and added in production to make it a proper venue. The menu looks new but still keeps some of the Shuckers favorites.

WRE: You guys are known for music festivals and now hospitality. What’s the future for PTC?

PTC: The future for PTC involves expanding our hospitality ventures, with plans to open more Palm Tree Clubs in various cities. We aim to become a global lifestyle brand synonymous with good people, incredible music, and exceptional hospitality.

WRE: What advice would you give to young entrepreneurs in Miami who want to open similar concepts?

PTC: Our advice to young entrepreneurs in Miami is to stay forward-thinking and embrace the city’s evolving opportunities. When we started, the music industry here was limited, but now Miami has become a hub for innovation. Stay focused on what’s next, and don’t be afraid to pursue your passions.
