Del Toro Block Party & BBQ
Miami, FL – December 5, 2013 – Del Toro Shoes hosted more than 250 guests at the new Del Toro Headquarters in Wynwood for an evening of cocktails, coconuts and barbeque by Executive Chef Henry Hane (formerly of Eating House). The event also marked the third annual Del Toro Art Basel exhibition. “The event was a celebration of Del Toro’s progress and its strong bond with the art world,” said CEO and Creative Director Matthew Chevallard. Each year Del Toro chooses a set of local and international artists to design wearable pieces of art which are put on display during Art Basel and become part of Del Toro’s permanent art collection. This year shoes were designed by: PhotoDave, Fred Caron, Max Wiedemann, Cullen Winkler, The Pocket, Chris Valdes, Baghead, Magnus, Massiel Mafes, Gloria Hernando, Abstrk, Buddah, FunkJorge, Miguel Rodriguez,Clay Frye, 305 Kid, Choose Your Peace, Matt Herget, Vinicius De Luca Souza, Luis Valle, Danny Ferrer, Diana Contreras, Andres Rosquete, Kevin Espeche, Leza One, Hiram Pierre, Muro and Txemy.
