New York-based dynamic DJ duo AndrewAndrew mixed beats on their iPads as the exclusive crowd mingled and danced while enjoying cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

Condé Nast Traveler’s 17th annual May Hot List issue is the ultimate insider’s guide to the hottest new hotels and spas that have opened this year. This year, editors traveled anonymously to 57 countries to visit 201 new hotels, evaluating each on a standard set of criteria including service, food, atmosphere, and amenities. Their mission? To discover the best in the world. The 2013 Hot List is the largest ever, with a record number of 154 new hotels and resorts—including 62 hotels for under $300 a night—and 35 of the world’s most blissful new spas.
