Miami Beach, FL – November 9, 2010 – Miami Beach’s historic boardwalk set the scene for Marriott International’s 9th Annual Children’s Miracle Network 5K Torch Relay. Participants began the run at the South Beach Marriott and ended at Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach. After, runners celebrated with a BBQ reception in which honored patients and families spoke about their real life miracle stories. Money raised from the relay goes towards the Miami Children’s Hospital for those who are still fighting against potentially fatal diseases.
