Miami, FL – November 8, 2018 – HistoryMiami Museum celebrated the opening of its newest exhibition featuring the work of former National Geographic photographer, Nathan Benn. The new exhibition, aptly titled “A Peculiar Paradise: Florida Photographs by Nathan Benn,” includes nearly 100 photographs, as well as artifacts, that showcase the State of Florida at the dawn of the 1980s. The photos explore topics such as the narcotics war, south beach, immigration and tourist attractions. The exhibition is timed with the release of Benn’s new book with the same title. Guests enjoyed a special book signing during the opening party. The exhibition will be open to the public November 9, 2018, through April 14, 2019. For more information visit historymiami.org.
