Faena Rose Hosts Exclusive Studio Visit with Artist Cristina Lei Rodriguez

Miami, FL – June 16, 2018 – Faena Rose members enjoyed an exclusive tour of artist Cristina Lei Rodriguez’s outdoor studio, where she shared insights into her extensive oeuvre and gave us a rare look into her artistic process by creating a sculpture live during the visit. Cristina is celebrated for her organic, minimalist, and pristinely finished works that brilliantly embody a tension between the natural and the artificial. Her work has been exhibited internationally at Serpentine Gallery and Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin, and is included in the permanent collections of PAMM, de la Cruz Collection, The Bass, and Rubell Family Collection. She recently collaborated with Tra Publishing on a book retrospective encased within 50 limited edition sculptures, which we witnessed being made in her studio.
