Miami City Ballet Celebration at Bâoli Miami
Miami Beach, FL – November 9, 2017 – Miami City Ballet members got a sneak peek of the newly reimagined Nutcracker, as Artistic Director Lourdes Lopez went behind the scenes with artistic power couple Isabel & Ruben Toledo, designers of the costumes and scenery for the holiday classic. Guests saw several of the new designs, and heard the Toledo’s inspiration behind their creations and enjoyed performances from George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker. After the performance, members gathered at Bâoli Miami, where they enjoyed appetizers, Dancing Mermaids Rosé and mingled with Miami City Ballet dancers.
