The Bass | Inaugural Donor Dinner at The Bass

Miami, FL – October 24, 2017 – The Bass Inaugural Donor Dinner was held to celebrate the return of The Bass Museum of Art and to honor the donors and patrons who helped make the transformation possible. Through private donations and public contributions, The Bass was able to embark on a complete building renovation led by Architect David Gauld, alongside Arata Isozaki, to increase programmable space by nearly 50 percent, including four new galleries, a museum shop, a café by Thierry Isambert and a designated education facility. On Sunday, October 29, 2017, The Bass officially opens to the public with a new space and inaugural exhibitions by Ugo Rondinone and Pascale Marthine Tayou.
