Friends of NWS Present “Up Close and Personal with MTT”

Miami Beach, FL – May 1, 2017 – The top supporters of Friends of NWS gathered for an intimate evening of conversation and music, with Michael Tilson Thomas—affectionately known as MTT–New World Symphony’s illustrious Co-Founder and Artistic Director. Guests were treated to a special Q & A session that offered a close look into the 11-time Grammy Award™ winner’s creative process, his views on the future of classical music, his long history of collaborating with musical legends from Igor Stravinsky to Leonard Bernstein, and more. The event was hosted at the beautiful Forte Dei Marmi Arts Club, in keeping with the club’s agenda to promote the art of intelligent conversation. Prior to the talk, guests enjoyed Grey Goose cocktails and Forte Dei Marmi’s signature “marble” bites. The evening concluded with a delightful string quartet performance by NWS Fellows.
