Miami, FL – March 29, 2017 – There’s a story behind every picture. The Nader Art Museum Latin American Art hosted, a 4-year retrospective – REFUGE IN PAINT. The exhibit began with a panel conversation about the importance of art in the the lives of children in war ridden areas and was followed by floor to ceiling installations, paintings, photography, prints and films that invite you to think beyond conventional media and step inside the world as a displaced person sees it. The proceeds of all the art work sold goes to support future art workshops for displaced children. Exhibit has been extended to the end on the month.
