Miami Beach, FL – February 25, 2017 – The Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival once again celebrated America’s culinary fascination with fried chicken. The festival carefully curated more than a dozen chefs, led by Chef Andrew Carmellini from The Dutch, to serve up their best birds – paired with refreshing bubbly at the W South Beach. The real-life tale told in Festival Founder & Director Lee Brian Schrager’s second cookbook Fried & True: More Than 50 Recipes For America’s Best Fried Chicken & Sides (Clarkson Potter, May 2014), this walk-around tasting featured a star-studded group of chefs showcasing both classic recipes and unique twists on this mouth-watering dish. Sharpened side dishes along with precisely paired champagnes fulfilled this night of sizzle.
