Alexander Mijares “Off The Canvas” Unveiling of Sculpture Series at The Sacred Space Miami

Miami, FL – January 19, 2017 – Acclaimed artist and dedicated philanthropist, Alexander Mijares, unveiled his first sculpture show, “Off The Canvas” at The Sacred Space Miami, produced by Karla Conceptual Event Experiences. This is the first time Mijares will be featuring sculptures in a show. For years, Mijares created 2D pieces on a flat canvas and began to wonder what the back would potentially look like and this inspired him to begin creating sculptures. The pieces in “Off The Canvas” are all bronze and made from scratch. Mijares wanted to create pieces in a 3D dimension in order to enjoy a different view and perspective from every angle. The Sacred Space Miami promotes a healthy lifestyle where the mind, body, and spirit are connected. Light bits from Grown and desserts from Bunnie Cakes was provided as well as complimentary libations from Constellation Brands and Alhambra Beer. A portion of proceeds will be donated to Ray and Shannon Allen’s foundation, Diabetes Research Institute Foundation.
