Miami, FL – October 1, 2016 – It was all about partying for a great cause as Friends of St. Jude (FOSJ) Miami, a young professionals group dedicated to supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, celebrated its ninth annual International Dermatology “It’s All About the Kids” signature event, presented by the Andrés Asion Foundation. The Havana Retro-themed event was held at JW Marriott Marquis and chaired by Frances Hassun and co-chaired by Johanna C. Miñoso and Luly Valls. The evening program was hosted by Univision’s Pamela Silva-Conde and WPLG Local 10’s Victor Oquendo. Kicking off the event, CCO of iHeartLatino, community activist and philanthropist, Enrique Santos, received the “St. Jude Stephan Gutierrez Award,” for his unrelenting commitment to the children and families of St. Jude. Following the presentations guests danced the night away to music by Peter Diaz accompanied by the fun beats of the Bongos. Guests also enjoyed a tasting menu and cocktails provided by, Diageo. Additionally, for the first-time this year, guests enjoyed the night’s signature drink, “YOLO-Make a Difference,” which was inspired by Andrés Asion.
