Earth Day Celebration at 1 Hotel South Beach

Miami Beach, FL – April 22, 2016 – 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach set the eco-standard with its second annual Earth Day Celebration. With a custom installation by Plant the Future featuring tendrils of moss vines hanging from the ceilings and succulents throughout the lobby, guests joined to salute Mother Nature with crafted cocktails and organic bites which included Yellowfin Tuna Crudo, Roasted Red Pepper Confit and Florida Blue Crab Croquettes by Beachcraft, a Tom Colicchio restaurant and music stylings from Afrobeta. Attendees of the event were also invited to set an intention on the Intention Tree outside of Beachcraft. For each intention added to the tree between April 22 – 24, 1 Hotel South Beach will donate up to $1,000 to Million Trees Miami to help preserve the local eco-system and environmental canopy. Outreaching to more than just its local surroundings, 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach has encouraged its social media followers to also participate by setting an online intention with the hashtag #1EarthDay and $1 for each intention will be donated to million trees Miami.
