New York, NY – September 30 – October 2, 2011 – This past weekend, Pennsylvania-based dessert company Sweet Street Desserts made its second appearance at 2011 New York City Wine & Food Festival, bringing the Big Apple to a new level of luscious® On Friday, the “Sweet Ride” rolled into ‘Meatpacking Uncorked,’ where foodies and wine connoisseurs alike sampled the international brand’s irresistible desserts on the curb of Soho House NYC. The following day, at ‘The Best Thing I Ever Ate Between Bread,’ Sweet Street, along with Founder and CEO Sandy Solmon, served up a selection of “dessertwiches” to host Duff Goldman and other celebrity chefs including Jeff Mauro, Marc Forgione, Ben Sargent, and Angelo Sosa. Having successfully demonstrated that its confections are “the sweetest things since sliced bread,” the ever-popular dessert truck concluded its sweet ride through the festival at ‘Carts in the Parc’ on Sunday, where host Andrew Zimmern made sure to stop by the Sweet Ride and pay his respects to one of his favorite desserts, the Cream Puff.
