Miami Beach, FL – December 2, 2015 – Wednesday marked an exciting Art Basel kickoff with contemporary collage artist, Daniel Mazzone and 1 Hotel South Beach. Recently called “the next Andy Warhol,” by Elite Daily, Mazzone’s vibrant collages include a visual history of his subject—original letters, magazine covers, song lyrics—which he assembles to create eye-popping works of art. The exhibition included 24 never-before-seen pieces. Close to 1,000 guests enjoyed canapés and cocktails from Midori, 50 Bleu, Stella Artois, and Jean-Luc Colombo. Haute Living, Alliance Bernstein, Compass, and Friends of New World Symphony invited VIP guests.
