Miami Beach, FL – August 5, 2011 – Amongst afros, gold lame, and bell bottoms were 200 of miami’s hottest party goers all “decked out” for Jamie Mark’s disco, 70’s, night time pool party extravaganza at the SohoBeachHouse Friday night. The party kicked off early and the steamy night was the perfect setting for everyone to get in the pool immediately, which was Jamie’s 31^st bday wish come true !! The swim up bar, manned by our FAVORITE bartender Chris, was perfect for thirsty partygoers who sipped 42 Below cocktails and Moet Champagne and the dancefloor (which was a the platform over the pool) was slamming all night long – there was no reason to get out of the pool – so no one did. Throughout the night, people participated in a heated limbo match and a perfectly choreographed YMCA. The huge video screen prompting the crowd with “disco moves 101“ was also a great addition to the party, and at any time, partiers could follow along and learn how to do a PROPER Hustle. Leave it to Jamie, aka disco dottie, to throw the party of the summer. It’s always hot, sexy, and wild at SBH and Friday night was no exception.
