Miami Beach, FL – September 17, 2014 – On Wednesday evening, a fleet of locals made their way to Katsuya at the SLS South Beach to catch the first glimpse of Miami’s latest fusion of art and hospitality. Following six long days of perfecting, famed Miami artist Jona Cerwinske had transformed Katsuya’s Dragon Lounge into a Japanese inspired graffiti wonderland. Dragons, koi fish, and a keen attention to detail is depicted throughout the walls, columns, and even ceilings. Throughout the unveiling, guests mixed and mingled with Cerwinske himself, taking the time to admire and chat with him about the incredible art work. If you were unable to make it out to the unveiling fear not because Cerwinske’s installation will be highlight the lounge for the next six months.
