Miami, FL – June 4, 2014 – Miami is growing faster than ever and construction cranes continue to rise throughout Miami’s thriving East Edgewater neighborhood with the groundbreaking of Biscayne Beach, the area’s newest luxury condominium to get underway. The 51-story waterfront tower will bring a private man-made beach to Miami’s urban core, and will activate one of Miami’s greatest natural amenities – Biscayne Bay- when it debuts in 2016. Biscayne Beach’s development team commemorated the momentous occasion with an official groundbreaking ceremony held at the project’s site on Wednesday morning. Notable attendees included City of Miami Mayor Tomás Regalado, City of Miami Commissioner Marc Sarnoff, celebrity interior design partner Thom Filicia, as well as representatives from Cervera Real Estate, WHLC Architecture and BC Architects. Later that evening, Ocean Drive magazine hosted a fabulous VIP cocktail reception at the sales gallery celebrating the project’s exciting groundbreaking. During the soiree it was exclusively revealed that famed New York eatery and Hamptons-famous Italian dining celebrity hotspot, Tutto Il Giorno, will debut its fourth restaurant location at Miami’s Biscayne Beach condominium. Notable attendees at the invite-only soiree included celebrity interior design partner Thom Filicia and Ocean Drive magazine publisher Courtland Lantaff.
