Miami, FL – February 26, 2014 – On Wednesday evening, Midtown Miami Residences partnered with Rolex Luxury Swiss to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Cosmograph Daytona. The evening took place within a contemporary penthouse in 4 Midtown with a backdrop of the downtown Miami skyline — the perfect setting to compliment the selection of watches on display. Rolex decorated 4 Midtown’s 3,371-square-foot penthouse with exclusive $75,000 timepieces exhibited throughout the living space comprised of floor-to-ceiling windows that wrap around the entire common area, an exposed concrete ceiling that offers a contemporary ambience as it contrasts with its crisp white walls, and three large terraces ideal for entertaining. Miami’s first Rolex boutique recently opened its doors on January 16 in the internationally-acclaimed Design District at 135 NE 39th Street. During Wednesday’s event, guests enjoyed Spanish tapas from Miami’s Perfecto Gastrobar, including, squares of salmon marinade in lemon yogurt sauce and caviar of salmon, tuna tataki with tobiko eggs of wasabi, and cocktails provided by Botran Rum.
