Miami Beach, FL – December 4, 2013 –  Last night, Kanye West and architect Jacques Herzog had a sit down with guests at the Surface Magazine “Design Dialogues” to talk about design in, where else, the Design District. What ensued with a chat about that, as well as getting in touch with your feminine side and oh so much more. Hans Ulrich Obrist stood as the moderator between the two powerhouses while they shared their deep thoughts, thoughts like “If I like it, I like it. No one can tell me who I like or what I’m supposed to be,” West shared. And “Architecture should respond to all the five senses,” Herzog explained.

The event served as the official after party for the first Art Issue by the magazine, which has a limited-edition cover by John Baldessari.
