Miami Beach, FL – November 19, 2010 – Best Buddies International held its 14th Annual Miami Gala last Friday night on Watson Island. The event, which celebrated the organization’s international expansion into 50 nations, included a cocktail hour, dinner, and an auction to raise funds to support individuals with intellectual disabilities. Actor Verne Troyer came out to show their support, whilst artwork from Romero Britto, KeithHaring, Roy Lichtenstein, Julian Schnabel, Jim Dine and Robert Rauschenberg was featured in the Best Buddies Fine Art Collection that was on display at the gala. Guests were able to buy the works of art with proceeds going to Best Buddies. The night was topped off with a live performance by Jason Derulo.
