Delray Beach, FL – November 4, 2010 – Legendary talk show host Larry King visited The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. today. The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. has aligned with The Larry King Cardiac Foundation, whose mission is to provide funding for life saving cardiac procedures for individuals who, due to limited means and no insurance, would be otherwise unable to receive treatment. The monies raised from each restaurant location will help save lives locally. Each Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. employee will wear the Foundation’signature “Be Smart Save a Heart” red wristband, whereby the company will donate $5 per employee to the cause. The wristbands will be on sale for $5 at each location with all proceeds benefiting the Foundation. As an added incentive, customers who purchase a wristband will receive a 20% discount on their meal the day the band is purchased.
