Recapturing Memories of the Black Ark: Spirit of Synthesis with Suzi Analogue at PAMM

Miami, FL – March 24, 2024 –  Sound enthusiasts flocked to Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) for an afternoon of sound in connection to artist Gary Simmons’s sculptural installation, “Recapturing Memories of the Black Ark.” Guests participated in Suzi Analogue’s “Spirit of Synthesis” workshop and live set that guided participants on a journey of the use of synthesizers and amplifying sound. Suzi went through her spiritual view and methods of electronic music creation by way of Gary Simmon’s “Black Ark installation.”
