Miami, FL – June 20, 2023 – Sam Fox, eleven-time James Beard-nominated restauranteur and founder of Fox Restaurant Concepts, is opening the doors of the much-anticipated restaurant and bar, The Henry, on June 21st at Brickell City Centre in Miami. The Henry, known for its globally-inspired new American cuisine and daily breakfast, will provide a vibing, everyday dining experience with a mouthwatering menu for locals and visitors alike.

WRE: Tell us about the concept behind The Henry.

Sam Fox: Known for its globally-inspired new American cuisine and daily breakfast, it is a vibing, everyday dining experience with a mouthwatering menu and everything from coffee to cocktails for locals and visitors alike. The Henry is known as the greatest neighborhood restaurant — a place where guests can always count on a warm welcome from baristas, servers, and bartenders who know your order by heart. 

WRE: What should guests expect when they come to The Henry?

SF: Guests will be in awe of the well-rounded experience – in hospitality, dining, and design, that draws them into The Henry. From business meetings to casual nights out and everyday celebrations, The Henry offers the perfect experience with a beautiful and inviting space where the hospitality is as great as the food and cocktails.

WRE: Why did you bring The Henry to Miami / Brickell City Centre?

SF: We wanted a location that is centrally located and popular with both locals and visitors. We know that being in Brickell City Centre puts us in the heart of Miami and will attract a diverse guest base. Plus, we really love what the team at Brickell City Centre has been creating and are excited to be a part of it. 

WRE: We have heard great things about Brunch at The Henry, can you tell us more about it?

You absolutely cannot forget about brunch – known for its famous brunch at every location, The Henry will offer an elevated weekend experience, including delectable staples such as the Smashed Avocado Toast with grilled country bread, olive oil, and aged cheddar; Cinnamon Sugar French Toast with strawberry compote and vanilla crema; and Rancheros Breakfast Bowl with sunny side up eggs, corn tortillas, and roasted jalapeño-pumpkin seed salsa, alongside the perfect brunch cocktails (of course) like Signature Spritzes like the original, and grapefruit; Mimosas like classic orange, peach, and guava + pineapple; the one and only Hanks Espresso Martini; and the Cafecito Martini with Borghetti espresso liqueur, licor 43 and spiced cold foam.

WRE: Are there any unique dishes exclusive to Miami?

SF: The Cauliflower Tahini, Heirloom Tomato Greek Salad, and the Grilled Chicken Club to name a few. Our grill section is unique in Miami providing a selection of cuts and sauces to your liking with options to add Sam’s Famous Butter Noodles or a Lobster Tail atop your steak, and the Molten Butter Cake, finished tableside with flaming caramel sauce. 

WRE: What are some signature dishes and drinks?

SF: Popular dishes include Short-Rib Potstickers with toasted sesame, cilantro, and ponzu; Spicy Tuna & Crispy Rice with Fresno chile, cilantro, and tamari; Scottish Salmon with cauliflower tahini, toasted grains, lemon sultana vinaigrette, watercress; and Korean Prime Skirt Steak with double egg fried rice, snap pea, bok choy, pickled shiitake, mint, cilantro, ginger; Lobster & Black Truffle Tagliatelle with roman cheese, truffle butter, Italian herbs, and toasted bread crumb; and Seared Tuna Chop with avocado, snap pea, carrot, wonton, cashew, and sesame ginger vinaigrette.

WRE: Can you tell us about the design of the space?

SF: The main dining room is filled with warm wood complemented by lavish and elegant, lush greenery, leather banquettes, white marble tables, and lounge areas. A 68-seat bar, both inside and outside, creates a welcoming and irresistible atmosphere focused on comfort, encouraging guests to sit for a cocktail or stay for a sophisticated yet approachable meal.

WRE: Where will The Henry expand to next?

SF: We are always looking for opportunities to share The Henry in new neighborhoods. We have a few spots that we’ve been visiting and considering for future locations. We look forward to solidifying our plans and making more announcements soon.
