WRE News: Miami-Dade Ranks 2nd in U.S. Population Growth Per County

Miami, FL – March 28, 2025 – Miami-Dade is booming, ranking as the second fastest-growing county in the U.S. last year.

Between July 2023 and July 2024, the county saw a net population increase of 64,211 people, a 2.3% growth rate—more than double the national average of 1%.

Out of 3,114 counties nationwide, Miami-Dade had the second-highest numeric growth, driven largely by international migration. In fact, it led the country in net international migration, adding 123,835 people from abroad during the period.
