Miami Beach, FL – February 22, 2025 – SOBEWFF® welcomed The Cookout to the Eden Roc, where chef JJ Johnson brought his vision of celebrating and reclaiming African American cuisine to life. The James Beard Award-winning chef, author, and TV personality curated a walkaround feast showcasing the rich tapestry of Black culture through food. An exceptional lineup of chefs presented dishes that paid homage to historically significant ingredients and cooking techniques, while guests sipped on refreshing Stella Artois. DJ Mike Deuce and DJ Too Much kept the energy high, setting the perfect rhythm for an evening of culture, community, and culinary excellence.
