Miami Beach, FL – November 11, 2024 – The Women of Tomorrow® Mentor & Scholarship Program’s 9th annual Rosé Day® brought supporters together at Soho House on Miami Beach to raise funds for at-risk students in South Florida. Attendees enjoyed the opportunity to socialize, hear from Women of Tomorrow graduates, and learn more about the program’s impact while supporting mentoring initiatives. Women of Tomorrow mentors approximately 4,000 students in 165 public high schools across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties, as well as Metro Detroit. With a 98% high school graduation rate, the program has awarded nearly $9 million in college scholarships to date.
Founded in 1997 by television journalist Jennifer Valoppi and former Telemundo Network President Don Browne, Women of Tomorrow inspires, motivates, and empowers at-risk young women to reach their full potential through mentorship from highly accomplished professional women and scholarship opportunities. Research has shown that mentees experience a significant increase in self-esteem, academic performance, and a 98% high school graduation rate. Women of Tomorrow has received Congressional recognition nine times and holds a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, the highest ranking awarded.
