Miami, FL – November 9, 2024 – Community-Police Relations Foundation hosted an unforgettable evening of cards, cocktails, and community engagement this Veteran’s Day weekend at the Wynwood Walls.
The CPR Foundation held its Second Annual Veteran’s Day Poker Tournament and Cocktail Party in Wynwood. Co-chaired by prominent figures like Al Eskanazy and Peter Hochfelder, the event was designed to strengthen the bonds between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
Attendees enjoyed an immersive experience, complete with Irie’s music, gourmet tastings from the newly relaunched Joey’s Wynwood, custom cigars, and exclusive networking opportunities. The evening featured a premium poker buy-in starting at $1,500, while cocktail party access began at $500, with all proceeds supporting the Foundation’s mission to foster positive police-community relations.
Beyond the entertainment, the event successfully raised awareness and funds for CPR’s initiatives, including youth mentorship, mental health training for officers, and combating human trafficking.
