“Busy Bees” Donor Breakfast at the Adrienne Arsht Center

Miami, FL – October 24, 2024 – The Adrienne Arsht Center hosted a private breakfast for donors before two performances of its educational musical “The Busy Bees’ Great Adventure” on Thursday, October 24. Among the sponsoring organizations present were The Kirk Foundation, The Jorge M. Pérez Family Foundation at The Miami Foundation, and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. The breakfast included a conversation with director Tanisha Cidel and creator Ashlee Thomas alongside Jairo Ontiveros, executive producer and Dorothea Green Chair of Education and Community Engagement at the Arsht.

“The Busy Bees’ Great Adventure” is the new first component of the Arsht Center’s Learning Through the Arts program, which ensures that all Miami-Dade County youth experience three meaningful touch points with the performing arts for free during their K-12 careers. 20,000 students attended 10 performances during the week of October 21-25.
