Miami, FL – April 14, 2024 – Honoring community leader Lisa Jerles and featuring a Passover cooking demonstration by FIU alum, Chef Allen Susser, Hillel at FIU’s “We Are Family” Day unites the community for a day of fun for the whole family. With carnival games for kids and casino games for adults, plus music from DJ Coco Hara, the celebration of Jewish life raises funds for Hillel at FIU, the Jewish student organization on campus at the fourth largest school in the nation. Hillel at FIU develops the future leaders of our Miami community, and Family Day supports the programming that makes it possible.
