Family Fun Festival at Frost Museum of Science

Miami, FL – February 3, 2024 – The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science welcomed over 5,000 guests from across Miami-Dade County for its inaugural Family Fun Festival in Downtown Miami. The free event was held as part of the museum’s ongoing commitment to fostering community engagement and access to science education. The vibrant outdoor Knight Plaza came alive with super-sized science demonstrations, live music and performances by the Caribbean Junkanoo Band, over 20 community partners from across Miami-Dade County, and MEGA Body, a larger-than-life, walk-through model of the human body. Guests took part in experiments and science activations by museum educators throughout the day and enjoyed food and drinks by Constellation Culinary Group. The Family Fun Festival was generously sponsored by The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, Baptist Health South Florida, Jackson Health System, and Florida Blue.
