Miami, FL – January 20, 2024 – The Glioblastoma Research Organization (GBMRO) presented the inaugural Padel for Brain Cancer event in partnership with Reserve Padel, the leading luxury lifestyle padel brand, benefitting the nonprofit’s mission to raise awareness and funds for new global, cutting-edge research to find a cure for glioblastoma. The competitive bracket tournament for a cause took place on Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Reserve’s picturesque Miami Seaplane Base padel club location. Winners received a comprehensive full body scan courtesy of Prenuvo, a TWOTWO padel, dinner at Forte dei Marmi and additional prizes from brand partners.

Padel for Brain Cancer kicked off with 28 teams of pairs vying for victory at Reserve Padel’s luxury waterfront courts. Advanced bracket winners Antonella Santeusanio and Pablo Rodriguez as well as intermediate bracket winners Cyril Matz and Richard Harris claimed their victories on the finals court sponsored by the Susan Scheman Ratner Foundation and commemorated their success with a post-game sunset cocktail hour made possible by brand partners like Cerveceria La Tropical, Coconut Cartel Añejo Rum and Wölffer Estate Vineyard.

Raffle prizes and brand activations were made possible thanks to event sponsors like Certifyde, EAROS, El Car Wash, Inter Miami CF, JetSet Pilates, PANGAIA, Sera and Mattina, Sonder and Holliday, Gorjana and Prenuvo. Attendees enjoyed recovery sips from Hydrant, Liquid Death, Local Weather, Magic Mind, OWYN™ and Poppi. On-site recovery was made possible by Impact Physical Therapy & Sports Performance. Guests enjoyed wellness shots by Drip IV, cryo facials by The KOV Cryotherapy and a pre-tournament warm-up with Transfiguration Fitness.
