WRE: What is the concept behind Carbone Beach?

Jeff Zalaznick: Carbone Beach is a celebration of this great moment in the history of Miami and a tribute to the city which we now call our home. It is an over the top evening of indulgent food, beverage and entertainment. It is everything we are about. We are creating an experience that creates memories for all of the senses. It is going to be a bacchanalia and it is going to be a lot of fun.

It is also a great continuation of the amazing events that we have partnered on with American Express to collaborate on creating spectacular experiences for their card members. They are great partners and we love working with them.

WRE: Is it true that Wyclef, Andrea Bocelli, Nas, Drake, DJ Khaled and Kygo will all be performing?

JZ: I cannot confirm anyone at this time because we want it to be a surprise but you definitely got some of them right.

WRE: Tell us about the design and atmosphere of the pop up.

JZ: It is the nicest structure that I have ever seen on the actual sand of Miami Beach. Think CARBONE meets Gatsby meets Miami Beach.

WRE: What makes the F1 race an ideal launch for Carbone Beach?

JZ: This is the most exciting week we have seen and there have been a lot of them over the last two years. It seems to be the perfect time to do something to share with all of our friends and customers from around the world.
