Miami Beach, FL – May 6, 2022 – On Friday, May 6th, Major Food Group hosted the second evening of American Express Presents CARBONE BEACH and it did not disappoint! The event’s red carpet mimicked that of an awards show, welcoming a bevy of celebrities including David Beckham, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, Derek Jeter and Hannah Jeter, David Fizdale, Michael Bay, Larsa Pippen, Damson Idris, Venus Williams, Serena Williams, Genie Bouchard, Jorge and Laura Pasada and Fabolous. James Corden was seen skipping the Red Carpet entrance (literally) as he skipped through the sand to the event’s entrance. The energy in the room was palpable during the lavish cocktail hour where Chloe Flower took to the grand piano, for the second night in a row, to wow guests with an unbelievable performance. Following the cocktail hour guests sat for a spectacular dinner prepared by Chef Mario Carbone himself, featuring signature dishes from his Michelin-starred restaurant. Shortly after dinner had begun, LeBron James, Maverick Carter and Rich Paul entered the room, bringing the energy up another notch. James and Paul received a warm welcome and were embraced by Beckham, Corden and Dwyane Wade, who left his table to embrace the group. Shortly after dinner service was completed, Wyclef Jean took the stage, bringing down the crowd with an energetic performance. In addition to wowing the crowd on the stage, Wyclef performed on top of almost every guest’s table, and the crowd went wild, chasing him as he moved through the room. Wyclef even freestyle – rapping “Beckham, LeBron, all rappers really are just sport fans!”. After Wyclef brought down the house, CARBONE Beach hosted the SECOND COURSE soiree in partnership with The h.wood Group and Sports Illustrated with live DJ sets by Zack Bia. LeBron James, Rich Paul, Serena Williams, Venus Williams and Genie Bouchard all partied until the lights came on.
