Miami, FL – March 3, 2022 – Joined by VIPs, members, artists, family, and friends, the Museum of Graffiti celebrated the grand opening of their new location. This new location, one block from the previous location, is 2000 square ft larger and is home to two brand new exhibitions! The permanent exhibition entitled The Wide World of Graffiti, From Vandals to Trendsetters, tells the story of how graffiti has influenced mainstream culture ranging from album covers to tattoos. The Museum’s first rotating exhibition in the new location is Estilo Boricua, a collection of works created exclusively by Puerto Rican artists! Guests of the VIP party enjoyed wine from Rabble Wine, beer from Veza Sur, free t-shirts courtesy of Dadewear and Champion. All of this was made possible by Berkowitz Contemporary Foundation. Tickets to the Museum are available every day 11AM – 6PM on museumofgraffiti.com.
