Miami Beach, FL – June 17, 2021 – The Confidante Miami Beach, a retro-glam Mid-Beach resort, celebrated the launch of Museum of Graffiti Beachside, a nine-month rotating art residency featuring local graffiti artists curated by the Wynwood-based museum. Miami locals, visitors and art aficionados alike flocked to the beautiful beachfront hotel to catch a glimpse of the first installment by Cuban American artist Jel Martinez, whose show “Unintentional Collaboration” has 18 pieces featuring a unique layering painting process. Art-inspired cocktails by Grey Goose Essences, craft brews from Wynwood Brewing Company, passed bites, live entertainment, and art tours led by Museum of Graffiti curators were also made available to guests. Locals and guests were also spotted enjoying dinner and drinks at the newly debuted restaurant Ambersweet and The Lounge after viewing the exhibit. Following Jel Martinez’s residency, world-renowned artist Ahol Sniffs Glue and Few and Far (All-Female Graffiti-Street Art Crew) are up next in the public exhibition, which is on view now through February 15, 2022, and located throughout the first floor of the hotel.
