Miami, FL – April 25, 2021 – The Miami Symphony, along with its Music Director and Conductor Eduardo Marturet, gathered on Sunday, April 25th, to create a magical performance which marked the comeback concerts at the Miami Design District where the Orchestra has had its headquarters since 2017. This outstanding event took place in the heart of the Miami Design District’s outdoor ‘Paradise Plaza,’ where the shop and walk festival invited crowds from all over to share an afternoon full of art and music.
Conducted by Maestro Eduardo Marturet with a special performance by MISO principal saxophone Demian Martinez, MISO concertmaster Daniel Andai, flautist virtuoso Huascar Barradas, latin percussionist José Gregorio Hernández, and rising star and Emilio Estefan protégée Yailenys Pérez. The concert was attended by influential personalities from Miami such as DACRA C.E.O. and entrepreneur Craig Robins, world-renowned photographer Bruce Weber, and MISO ambassador, actress, and wife of Marturet, Athina Marturet, among many others.
