ŌKAMI Hosts ASMALLWORLD Cocktail Reception in Miami Design District

Miami, FL – March 23, 2021 – On Tuesday evening, guests were introduced to ŌKAMI – a new sophisticated and wholly unique restaurant and lounge in the Design District. Founded by partners actor William Levy and Pedro Orihuela, ŌKAMI offers a multi-sensory Nikkei experience unlike any other. Members of ASMALLWORLD mingled in the courtyard while model and actress Jessica Cediel dined on authentic Nikkei cuisine with friends.

Fusing Japanese techniques with Peruvian ﬂavors, ŌKAMI brings fresh new sensory experiences to Miami, in the form of masterful Nikkei cuisine and a world class mixology program. The restaurant’s name means both wolf and “great spirit” in Japanese. The provocative double-height spaces brought to life by esteemed designer Francois Frossard are finished in sleek natural stone, granite and crystal. From the open dining room, to the sushi bar with its view into the hot kitchen, to the show-stopping second story dining room and lounge, private dining balcony and alfresco patio seating, every one of the 170 seats in the house is part of an exciting, earthy-but-elevated environment energy.
