Love Sensation – Art Week Celebration at Gitano Miami at Casa Faena

Miami Beach, FL – December 6, 2020 – Keeping Art Week alive, Miami based artist – RKP (Robert K. Posner) was the featured artist at the “Love Sensation – Art Week Celebration,” produced by Jake Resnicow at James Gardner’s Gitano Miami Rooftop at The Casa Faena Hotel. Over the course of 6 hours, the event drew hundreds of guests to this outdoor venue. The exhibition will be up from December to January 2021, so be sure to make time to have a look and enjoy a signature cocktail while enjoying tropical ocean breezes under the stars.

Robert K. Posner’s New Millennium series of mixed media canvases was started in January 2019 chronicling our collective experiences in this century. When seen together a story unfolds, illuminating how over time, leaders, media icons and corporate innovators have either contributed to or stymied progressive change. “Each viewer based on their age and personal experiences will likely have a different reaction to this art.” says RKP. The artist selects events highly covered by American media and layers in many of the other historical events of each year. “Often the same topics command headlines year-to-year. While there is progress, there is also backlash on issues like: gun violence, North Korea, Iran, Israel, Gaza, Russia, climate change, war, genocide, racial inequities and gay rights.” he added. The series sheds light on steadily growing political inertia and polarization of people in America and around the world.
