Miami, FL – April 18, 2020 – Mandated, statewide shelter-in measures have forced the Museum of Graffiti to shutter their doors, but the Museum is maintaining a robust online presence ranging from daily art talks with legendary graffiti writers on IG live to downloadable graffiti coloring books. The Museum’s latest exhibition, CES: ProCESs, was live-streamed on Saturday, April 18, 2020 via ZOOM. Visitors got an interactive tour through the exhibition while listening to a discussion of the work by the artist CES and museum co-founders Allison Freidin and Alan Ket. Guests were able to submit questions in real time and were the first to receive links to purchase newly released limited edition works. Artists like Os Gemeos and Jose Parla surprised guests who were stunned by how CES hides his name in drawings of everyday objects like fruit, power tools, or a sofa. The live-stream opening party concluded with a DJ set by Miami’s own Mr. Mauricio. All works are now available online via the Museum of Graffiti’s website.
