“Lunch Table Workshops” with Dice Raw at Young Men’s Preparatory Academy

Miami, FL – November 15, 2019 – Last week, artist Karl “Dice Raw” Jenkins taught workshops at Booker T. Washington Senior High School and Young Men’s Preparatory Academy. Throughout the course of the week, Dice Raw worked with students on creating raps, poems, art and music based on their personal experiences with self- segregation. The Arsht Center has commissioned Dice Raw to work on a play about self-segregation in high school cafeterias.
