The Betsy-South Beach Appoints New Canine Executive Officers: Betsy & Rosa!

Miami Beach, FL – October 15, 2019 – Betsy and Rosa are The Betsy Hotel’s Canine Executive Officers. Rosa is still a puppy who just came to The Betsy (in October, 2019) after the death of our Founding Canine Hospitality Professional, Katie (Katherine Hepburn Plutzik). Betsy and Rosa hold a CEO cocktail hour every Friday at 5 PM hosted by Zachary Plutzik, who is also the managing director of the hotel. The Betsy has been hosting its CEO Cocktail hour for 2 years but now for the first time will be featuring Betsy Rosa Beer, a brew named for our Canine Executive Officers. The Beer is served on draft in our restaurants and bars.

The Betsy Hotel is a dog friendly hotel – and guests are welcome to dine with their pets in the restaurants’ outdoor areas. The Betsy also donates a portion of pet fees to two animal rescue programs, one in Miami Dade and the other in Zimbabwe, the birth place of our co-owner, Lesley Goldwasser.
